Beyond Typical Co. started with me — a boy mom, an autism mom, and a woman who wanted to create something that felt a little more like real life.

Being a mom has changed me in ways I never could have imagined. And being an autism mom has taught me to see the world differently.

My son is a huge part of why Beyond Typical Co. exists.

I wanted to create apparel that represented families like ours without making everything feel clinical, overly serious, or defined by a diagnosis. Because we’re so much more than that.

We laugh. We struggle. We celebrate things other people might never think twice about. We have hard days and really amazing ones. And sometimes humor is exactly what gets us through.

That’s where Beyond Typical Co. comes from.

It’s a little bit heartfelt, a little bit sarcastic, and a whole lot of real life.

This brand is for the moms advocating behind the scenes. For the parents sitting through IEP meetings. For the kids who experience the world in their own way. For the families learning to celebrate progress instead of perfection.

But it’s also for anyone who has ever felt different, lived outside the expected, or decided that “typical” just wasn’t really their thing.

I started it because I had something I believed in.
